  • cup tamarind juice extracted from a small ball of tamarind
  • or
  • 1 teaspoon tamarind paste
  • kg string beans chopped finely
  • cup grated coconut
  • red chilies broken into bits
  • teaspoon mustard seeds
  • big tomatoes chopped
  • green chilies chopped
  • teaspoon cumin powder
  • tablespoon chopped garlic
  • medium size onion chopped
