Ingredients

  • 1 tsp fennel seeds (saunf)
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/4 tsp fenugreek seeds
  • 1/4 tsp kalonji (onion seeds)
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 4 dry red chilies
  • 1 and 1/2 cup basmati rice - soaked in water for 20 mins 2 tbsp curd / yogurt
  • 1/2 cup chopped mushroom
  • 1/4 cup fresh green peas
  • 1 medium sized onion - finely sliced
  • 1/2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1/4 cup chopped mint leaves
  • 1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves
