In a pressure cooker heat oil. Add asafetida and mustard seeds. Let the seeds crackle.
Add cumin seeds and curry leaves. Fry for a few seconds.
Add red chili powder, coriander powder, and turmeric powder. Mix well. Instantly, add hara chana and aloo.
Add ¼ cup of water, sugar, and salt. Mix well.
Close the lid. Let the cooker make 3 whistles. One on high flame and the other two on low flame.
Let the pressure release by itself.
Add chaat masala and garam masala. Mix well.
Garnish with coriander. Serve hot with chapatti, paratha etc.

I have been thinking for a while to sometimes make a quick post. 4-5 medium boiled potatoes, 3 medium half raw desi tamatar(finely chopped), 2 chutki rai, 1 spn jeera, 3 dry red chilli (broken into 2-3 pieces), 2 chutki heeng, 1 spn coriander powder, 1 spn red chilli powder, 1tspn turmeric powder, 2tbspn chopped green coriander leaves, cooking oil and salt
