Aloo peas in gravy (Sindhi Cuisine)

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 3 chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Ginger Garlic Green chilli paste (G3 paste)
  • 1 potato cut into pieces
  • 1/2 cup peas
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  • Salt as per taste
  • 2 tbsp Chopped coriander
  • 1/4 th cup water.


    In a cooker, add oil + onion saute till it turns little pink. Add G3 paste and tomatoes. Saute till oil comes in the corners. Now add all masala, salt, peas, potatoes and mix well and cover it for few mins. Add water and cook it for 6/7 whistles or till potatoes are well cooked. Finally add chopped coriander and serve hot.
