Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Whole Moong
  • 1/2 cup Green chilies – 2
  • 1/2 inch piece
  • 1 cup water
  • 5-10 minutes By this time the flakes will soak the water and turn soft
  • 5. To make the pesarattu, heat a non stick tawa
  • ½ cup Whole Moong
  • ½ cup Green chili
  • 2 Ginger
  • ½ inch piece Cumin seeds
  • ½ tsp Curry leaves
  • 1-2 tbsp METHOD
  • 3-4 hours Soak the Barnyard Millet flakes for a minute in water with a pinch of salt
  • 1 cup water
  • 5-10 minutes By this time the flakes will soak the water and turn soft
