I would not be able to get two morsels of the piquant chickencurry down my throat without tears streaming from my eyes, but my in-laws extended family would openly say that without the high heat from the chilli combine, the gravy would not taste good
( may be that is an excuse for eating non-veg , I guess). The flavor in this curry is definitely from all the spices, but Poppy Seeds ( Gasa Gasalu) is one main spice ( or ingredient) that enhances the taste, which is critical in this recipe and can not be skipped
I wanted to post few Andhra style non-veg recipes though I have already posted quite a few recipes like the popular Andhra Chicken Pickle, there's also Gongura Royyalu (gongura prawns), chickencurry in onion gravy, prawn masala, squid masala so far and this Kodi Kura is very simple curry with subtle flavors it's one of my favorite chickencurry as it's very easy to prepare and taste just delicious
- You can use chicken with bones too for this curry it will be absolutely great. - Adding curry leaves is a must, and use freshly made ginger garlic paste for a great tasting curry
