I often make 'Poriyal'/ stir fries using beetroot. You can boil the beetroot in an open pot/vessel and use the water/vegetable stock to make Beetroot Rasam
This Puttu/Poriyal is very easy to make,it doesnt need any fancy ingredients, just stirfrybeetroot with onions and finish off with freshly grated coconut
