  • 250 grams Yam/Elephant Yam/Jimmikand/Ole/Oal
  • 2 tablespoons lime/lemon juice ( freshly extracted )
  • 1 " ginger ( peeled and grated)
  • 3 green chillies ( finely chopped)
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ajwain/carom seeds
  • pinch of asafoetida
  • 2 tablespoons mustard oil
  • salt to taste
