Brinjal Dry Fish Curry

Ingredients

  • Brinjal White-1 Long Cubes
  • Dry Fish-2
  • Onion Sliced-1
  • Green Chilli-2 Slitted
  • Ginger Garlic Paste-1tsp
  • Curry Leafs
  • Chopped Coriander-1tbs
  • Tomato Slices-2
  • Kudam Puli-1(washed and soaked)
  • Mustards-1/2tsp
  • Fenugreek Seeds-a pinch
  • Turmeric-1/2tsp
  • Coriander Powder-1/2tsp
  • Chilli Powder-2tsp
  • Salt
  • Water-1/2glass

Instructions

    Cut the brinjal into long cubes and keep the brinjal in salt water.

    Marinate the fish with turmeric and chilli powder and fry it.

    Heat the oil add the mustards and fenugreek.when it splutters add the onion,green chillies,ginger garlic and curry leafs.saute well.

    Add the powders one by one.when it get roasted add the tomatoes.when it produce oil add salt and brinjal.mix it.Then add the dry fish.

    Add some water when it boils add the kudam puli(optional)cook till it becomes a semi gravy.garnish with coriander.
