  • 200 gm baingan/brinjals/ eggplant
  • 1 cup besan/gram flour
  • 1/4 cup rice flour (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 catch sabzi masala or garam masala
  • a pinch of baking soda
  • salt as per taste
  • chaat masala to sprinkle
  • oil for deep frying
