  • 2 tbsp Mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Urad dal
  • 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Curry leaves
  • 1 sprig Green chilli
  • 2. In a kadai, heat the oil and add the mustard seeds, urad dal, cumin seeds, curry leaves and green chilli
  • 6. Cook for 2 more minutes, check for salt. Add the lemon juice and add some chopped coriander leaves and switch off.
  • 1. You can use grated carrots as well
  • 3. You can scramble the eggs separately and add it to the carrots
  • 4. Add more green chillies if your kids will like a spicy poriyal
