Ingredients

  • All Purpose Flour / Maida - 3 cups
  • 1 Salt to taste
  • 1 Sugar - 2 tblsp
  • 1 Baking Soda / Cooking Soda - ¾ tsp
  • 1 Oil or Melted Butter - 2 tblsp
  • 1 Yogurt / Curd - ½ cup
  • 1 Water as needed
  • 1 Butter and Oil for frying
  • 1 Garlic - ¼ cup chopped finely
  • 1 Cheese - 3 cups grated
  • 1 Coriander leaves - 2 cups chopped finely
  • 1 Green Chillies - 3 tblsp chopped finelyTake flour, salt, sugar, baking soda, oil in a bowl and mix well. Add yogurt and water knead to a soft dough. Apply oil on top and let it rest for 30 mins.
  • 1 Take filling ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
  • 1 Take a portion of dough and flatten it, apply butter and roll it. Now shape it in to a ball and flatten it again.
  • 1 Place the filling in the middle and seal it.
  • 1 Roll it into a kulcha.
  • 1 Sprinkle top with garlic, coriander leaves and chillies.
  • 1 Place it on hot tawa and cook on each side drizzling with oil for 3 to 4 mins.
  • 1 Remove and apply some butter.
  • 1 Cut into wedges and serve.
