Chinese Style Maggi Noodles With Caramelized Onions

  • Onions 1 Small
  • Garlic 4 Pulses
  • Capsicum, Carrot, Corn (can be added as per choice) As Needed
  • Spring Onions As Needed(optional)
  • Butter 1 1/2 Tsp
  • Chilli Flakes 1/4 Tsp
  • Chilli Sauce(optional) 1/4 Tsp
  • Pasta Sauce Or Tomato Paste 1 1/2 Tsp
  • Soya Sauce 1/4 Tsp
  • Pasta Seasoning 1/8 Tsp
  • Maggi Noodles
  • Taste Maker( Add One Or Two Packets Less)
  • Salt( Consider Taste Maker Salt and Add Less Salt)
  • Water As Needed


    1. Heat a kadai. Add butter and if wanted oil. Heat it to medium.

    2. Add the onions and caramelize it. Add salt a bit to it to caramelize it faster. Keep it aside.

    3. In the same kadai, add garlic and cook just untill it turns brown.

    4. Add the veggies and cook it untill it turns to b smokey and a bit crispy.

    5. Add the sauces and seasoning and chilli flakes to it. Add the taste maker. Cook it for 2 min.

    6. Add the noodles and water. Add salt as desired(preferably less). Give it a fine mix.

    7. Now cook untill it is 95% cooked.

    8. Now add the caramelized onions.. Give a mix.. Now open cook for 3-5 min.

    9. This is optional step.. Add the spring onions.. Cook for another 3 min. Switch it off.
