Ingredients

  • 2 cups of peeled cubed chayote s
  • 4- 5 long red
  • 1 small
  • 2 tbsp udad dal
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 2 small
  • 1. Take a deep pan, add
  • 2. Add the small ball of tamrind too while sautéing as it will soften it a bit.
  • 4. In another small pan add a tsp of sesame oil and fry the udad dal and red chillies till the dal turns golden and aromatic . The red chillis should be one crisp.
  • 7. This makes an excellent accompaniment
