Pudina / Mint Raita. “Palak Dal” is easy to make meal (lunch or dinner) recipe. This is easy to make dal recipe and also combines the goodness of spinach so I prepare this dal for my kids especially as I want them to incorporate spinach in their daily diet
Now pour the boiled dal or yellow lentil and fry till it becomes thick with no water content. Now add the chopped onions and fry well till soft and lightly golden
You never go wrong with this dal. Heat a pan, add oil / Ghee in it. Add mushy dal in it and add cup of water in pressure cooker and clean it and add that water in dal too
It is usually served with roti/phulka, jeera rice and plain rice. Dalfry is a very popular lentil recipe, made with a single or combination of lentils like toor dal, chana dal, moong dal and masoor dal
Boil all the dals by adding water, oil and Turmeric powder and mash then fully. Add the dal and water as required, salt, lemon juice and cook for few mins

For the garnish, you may sprinkle some chopped coriander leaves ( dhaniya / cilantro ) and serve. This Moong Dal Khichdi is the simplest of them all, and is my favourite too
