of the batter, pour circular movement into the hot oil to form a small circle. Deep fry until brown on both sides. Increase the heat, remove the fried malpua with a slotted spoon and keep in paper towels. Fry all the malpuas one by one.Repeat the same process for remaining batter. The delicious ripe jackfruit malpua is ready. Enjoy the malpuas with your family and kids.
Jackfruit is a seasonal fruit available from March to May. Make it spicy and savor it as a side dish with rice / roti or mildly spice and enjoy it as a snack
I learnt from the hotel concierge that unlike in the north, where the jackfruit is preferred green and raw and cooked as savoury or pickled, down south people let it ripen and enjoy eating its sweet seeds
Jackfruit a wonderful vegetable although, people find it difficult to handle raw jackfruit but it tasts superb when cooked properly i am sure this step by step recipe will help you to make this excellent dish
Even if its little ripe , it ll give a sweet smell to the dish. Mildly flavored coconut paste is added to cooked raw jackfruit and tempered with a dash of coconut oil
So I made this and I didn't add any additional sugar as sweetness from Jackfruit was good enough. I love any dish which is naturally sweeten with natural sugar
