Ingredients

  • 3 persons depending upon one
  • 5 medium large Katla/rohu
  • fish/aar/
  • 1 Medium onions chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp ginger paste
  • 5 tbsp mustard oil ( you can
  • use any vegetable oil if you do not like the smell)
  • 3 tsp Ghee
  • 2 green chilies slit
  • 2 tbsp plain yogurt/curd
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 tsp jeera / cumin powder
  • 2 ½ tsp garam masala
  • 1 ½ cup water
  • 2 tsp sugar (you can reduce this if you like)
  • 1 ½ tbsp chopped coriander
  • leaves
