  • 1 cup Sour Dahi (Yogurt)
  • 1 medium sliced onion
  • Pinch of Asafoetida powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp Red chilly powder
  • 1/2 tsp green chilly paste
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 4 tbsp Mustard oil or Vegetable oil for frying Potol / Parwal
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • Salt to taste
