Add ginger, garlic,chilly,cumin,turmeric and
1/2 cup
of water. Saute on slow heat till oil separates. Add 11/2 cups of water, sugar and salt and keep cooking till all the water evaporates. Add ghee, mix well and remove pan from the heat. Cover and give 5 to 6 minutes standing time.

This dish is very health side dish forroti / rice / naan or rice. Pressure cook the peas for 4-5 whistles. Add green chillies, Coriander powder, Turmeric powder and fry for another 2 mins. Fry for 20 sec. Add grinded paste fry for 2 min. Let it boil for another 2 mins
