water add coffee powder, cocoa powder and mix well, keep aside. Grease an 8" cake pan with some butter or oil, dust with flour and tap inverted pan to remove excess flour and set aside.

white batter and repeat this until you finish both the batters. Tap the pan gently once or twice and bake for 30-40 mins or until a tooth pick inserted in center comes out clean, mine got baked in 35 mins so after 25 or 30 mins check the cake if not done then check after 5 mins, do this until you get clean tooth pick.
When told it was eggless and butterless, she went on to grab two more pieces. This is my first attempt in making an egg-less and butter-less version of cake and I would say that this is a no-fail recipe

This is my basic cakerecipe that I use for most of the egglesscake while using oil, we can also make this cake with wheat flour or use half of wheat flour and half of maida, since this time it was made to gift I didn't use wheat flour but you sure can the cake looks moist and delicious either way
