Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/3 cup Butter milk – ½ cup
  • 1 tsp Distilled white vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Red food color
  • 1 tsp or as needed
  • 2. In a mixing bowl, take sugar
  • 3. If you want natural food color use beetroot juice also

    Cake did not raise. Something wrong in the recipe. Also the butter in the frosting. Can we avoid it

    May be your baking powder was too old...and while making the batter mix butter and refined oil half and half( 1/4 cup oil and 2tbsp butter), the cake comes out super soft and moist
