Ingredients

  • 3 days to go and celebrations starts today, yippyy....
  • 1.5 cups plain flor
  • 1 tin of sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 cup mix
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup of aerated soda
  • 1. Take a pan add sugar and let it caramelise on low flame.
  • 2. Once it
  • 4. In a bowl take room tempratured butter and whisk it till light and fluffy.
  • 6. In a separate bowl sieve together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon powder and nutmeg powder.
  • 7. In a small bowl add 1 tbsp of this flour mix and to this add all your dried fruit and nuts and give it a good mix. This will help the nuts not sunk into the cake.
  • 9. Take 3 batches of each to form it a nice thick batter.
  • 10. Once done, add all the nuts and give it a quick mix.

  • 12. Take out the cake once done, and let it cool completely before slicing.
