Ingredients

  • 500 grams boneless fish, any fish of your choice
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • oil for frying
  • 4 onions, thinly sliced
  • mixed whole spices (3 cardamoms, 1 bay leaf, 1 inch cinnamon stick, 3 cloves, 1 star anise)
  • 2 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
  • 1 small tomato, pureed
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • salt as required
  • 1/2 cup whisked yoghurt
  • 2 green chillies chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh coriander leaves, chopped
  • oil as required
  • 500 grams basmati rice, washed and soaked for 30 minutes mixed whole spices (4 cardamom, 4 cloves, 2 bay leaves)
  • salt as required
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh coriander leaves, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh mint leaves, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon ghee
  • few saffron strands soaked in 2 tablespooons milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon yellow colour
