Ingredients

  • 5 minutes or until the raw smell goes off.Add urad dal flour to the ghee and mix it very well.Roast for another 5 minutes or until it gets a sandy consistency.

  • 20-22 small
  • edible gum/gond(1/2 cup) roasted in 1 tsp ghee.
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar(I used 1 cup jaggery and 1/2 cup sugar).
  • 1 cup ghee/nei.
  • 1 cup wheat flour/gothumai maavu.
  • 1 1/2 cup urad dal flour/ulunth maavu.
  • 1 cardamom/elachi/elakai.
  • little nutmeg.
  • 1 cup dates chopped.
  • few raisins.
  • 3/4 cup cashews.
  • 3/4 cup almonds.
