Ingredients

  • Green Chilli Chopped-10
  • Shallots Chopped-2
  • Garlic Chopped-4
  • Tamarind-gooseberry Size
  • Water-2 Glass
  • Turmeric-a Pinch
  • Salt
  • Asafoetida-1/4tsp
  • Curry Leafs
  • Mustard-1/2tsp

Instructions

    If the tamarind is black the colour of the rasam turns dark.

    Oil-splutter mustards add green chilli,shallots,garlic,curry leafs and saute for a while.now add turmeric and asafoetida mix add the tamarind water(squeeze the tamarind in 2 glass of water and strains it.)add salt.boil it for few minutes.
