Ingredients

  • 1 cup Peas, fresh green peas/ frozen/ dried
  • 1 Onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Fenugreek seeds powder
  • 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Garam masala powder
  • 1 tsp Channa masala powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 tbsp Cooking oil
  • A pinch of Sugar (optional)
  • 2 sprigs of Coriander leaves, finely chopped to garnish
  •  
  • To Saute and Grind
  • 2 Onions, roughly chopped
  • 4 Tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 4 tbsp Ginger – Garlic paste
  • 3 to 4 Green chillies, slit
  • 5 to 6 Cashews
  • 1/4 cup Curd (optionally you can use cream/ malai)
  •  
  • To Temper
  • 2 tbsp of Butter
  • 1 tsp of Oil (optional if you are using butter)
  • 1 tsp of Jeera
  • 1 inch piece of Cinnamom
  • 2 no.s of Cloves
  • 1 small sprig of Curry leaves
