  • 6-7 small brinjals
  • 2 onions medium-sized
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • Gooseberry-sized tamarind
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  • A few curry leaves
  • 2 cloves 2 inch piece cinnamon
  • 4 tsp oil
  • Coriander leaves for garnishing
  • Salt to taste
