jaggery 1 cup coconut / desiccated coconut 4-6 red chilies 1 tsp mustard seeds lemon sized tamarind pinch turmeric salt to taste seasoning ingredients: ½ tsp urad dal few curry leaves 1 tbsp coconut oil / cooking oil 1 red chilli Instructions finely chop padipe soppu and keep them aside grind grated coconut, red chilies, mustard seeds, turmeric, tamarind with required amount of water. make sure the paste is very smooth. cook padipe soppu with salt , water and a little jaggery for 10 minutes in medium flame. add ground masala and cook further for 5 mins finally add seasoning (mustard seeds, uddina bele, red chilies and curry leaves). serve it hot with rice or chapathi. 3.5.3208
