Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup quick cooking Oats ( I used Quakers)
  • 1 Teaspoon vegetable oil
  • a pinch of cumin seeds
  • 1/2 Teaspoon finely chopped ginger
  • 1/2 Teaspoon finely chopped garlic
  • 1 Carrot chopped finely
  • 1/4 Cup Fresh Green Peas ( Thaw if frozen)
  • a pinch of turmeric powder
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Kashmiri red chilli powder / red chilli flakes
  • 1/2 Cup vegetable stock
  • 1/2 Cup Water
  • Salt to taste
  • Parmesan cheese to top ( optional)
  • 1 Tablespoon spring onion greens for garnish
