Ingredients

  • 2 cups urad dal - 1/2 cup aval / poha / flattened rice - 1/4 cup fenugreek seeds / uluva - 1/2 teaspoon
  • 2. In a bowl, add rice, wash well twice or thrice in water.

  • 2 minutes till smooth
  • 2 - 3 tablespoons of water
  • 2 minutes Turn off the mixer
  • 3 minutes Open the lid add water little by little and grind to a smooth paste
  • 9. Once the idlis are cooked well, take it out from the idli plate using a spoon.
