Ingredients

  • ½ cup toor dal (washed and soaked in water for half an hour)
  • ¼ tsp turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1 small tomato
  • 1 tbsp fried gram
  • 1 tbsp coconut (grated or paste)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 14 small onion
  • 4 dry red chillies
  • ½ tsp fenugreek seeds
  • 1 tomato chopped
  • ½ tsp sambar powder
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 1 carrot
  • 3 minutes and then add
  • 2 tbsp of ghee
