There are many varieties in Dosa from plain dosas to crispy masala dosas that are a foodies delight. Here i used roasted rice flour ( Puttupodi) which is homemade
moong dal and chana dal dosa recipe - It is a very healthy, delicious, protein packed very thin pancake prepared with the batter of husked split green grams (moong dal) and split bengal grams (chana dal)
'Visiri' has another meaning in tamil and that means a 'fan' ( following), and I am sure that once you try out this recipe you are going to become one big 'Visiri' of this recipe
The dosas had turned so thin,crispy,flavorful and of course super yummy and easy. Add water generously such that the batter attains running consistency ( like milk )

You can also try my Godumai Idli (with fermentation) recipe. I have used Whole Wheat Flour or 'Chakki Atta' ( stone ground wheat flour), as it is locally called to make this Idli
This is an instant version and doesn't need fermentation. The regular rice idly needs grinding as well as fermentation and the amount of carbohydrate is considerably more due to the amount of rice used
