Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Yellow food colour
  • 1 cup Water – 1 cup Lemon juice – 1 tsp Yellow food colour – a pinch
  • 1 cup Corn flour – 2 tbsp Curd – ¾ cup Cooking soda – a generous pinch Ghee- 2 tbsp Yellow food colour - a pinch Oil+ ghee – to fry jalebi’s
  • 1 cup Water – 1 cup Lemon juice – 1 tsp Yellow food colour – a pinch Rose essence – 1 tsp Saffron – few threads
  • 1. In a bowl, mix maida, corn flour,curd,cooking soda,ghee, and food colour
  • 2. The batter must be thick in consistency
  • 3. Once fermented, mix it with a ladle and fill it in air tight cover or milk cover or in cloth and tie tightly with band or thread
  • 6. You can add oil later if you need it
  • 2. If the sugar syrup is not enough for the jalebi
