I will try to post kambuadai and kambu koozh recipes soon. Though i make it very often,i wanted to try a dosa recipe with kambu (in tamil)/Pearlmillet ( in English)/Bajra(in Hindi) as i got tempted by seeing my fellow bloggers post
Kambu/Bajra/PearlMilletAdai, this is another easy recipe using millets, I have used bajra and a mixture of dals/lentils, but I have changed the flavors in this adai, I have used cumin and black pepper while grinding and lots of onions in the batter
Kambu Omapodi Video recipe / Bajra Plain sev Video recipe –. Regular Omapodi is prepared using Besan or Roasted gram flour, but I have prepared this purely with Kambu flour or Bajra flour (pearlmillet)
Heat oil in a kadai for deep frying. Kambu or pearlmillet is a cereal crop of Asia and Africa. Kambu poori is high in protein as compared to other cereals
For me just by it self is good enough even though with Avial/Aviyal I can take extra adai. Adai is one of my favourite and is also a protein rich Indian vegan dish
