1 cup Black Gram lentil (Urad Dal). 2 tsp Bengal Gram lentil (Chana Dal). 2 tsp pigeon peas (Toor Dal). 5-6 green chilies. 2-3 garlic cloves. 3-4 curry leaves. In a hot pan add 1/2 tsp of oil and saute green chilies for 2-3 min, grind them coarsely with ginger, garlic and some coriander leaves. Add green chilly, ginger, garlic paste or Green chilly Chutney, turmeric powder and tomato, saute for 2-3 min(till tomatoes are cooked). Add water and salt, let it cook for 3-4 min (do not add all the water, check for the consistency then add more water if needed).
