Normally in home we take spinach or keerai twice a week. Imagine with the spoon of ghee and ladle full of spinachcurry with the boiled rice and that is accompanied by a papad
Now chop the keerai(greens), onion, green chilies, ginger and curry leaves. Coming to keerai vadai, is a yummy, healthy evening snack (as it has the benefits of both keerai(greens) and urad dhal)

This Keerai thandu Kootu is a tasty and easy kootu prepared with leftover stems of Spinach/Palak. You can also prepare the same kootu with other keerais but make sure to select only the tender stems
Curry leaves. prepared with any other keerai, but here I have used spinach(pasalaikeerai). Keerai masiyal is a very healthy, simple and easy dish to prepare
Though I cook more of this onion-tomato style keerai-masiyal, once in a while I prefer this comforting no-oil keerai kootu which is what is usually made in chettinadu homes
