  • 2 cups Water - 4 cups Onion - 3 medium Tomato - 2 medium Green chilli -
  • 2 tbsp Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • 2. In a pressure cooker or pan, add oil. Once the oil heats up, add the cumin seeds.
  • 3. When the cumin seeds splutter, add the chopped onions, curry leaves and green chillies.4. Saute until the onions become translucent. Now add the ginger garlic paste. Saute until the raw smell leaves.
  • 5. Add the chopped tomatoes. Cover and cook for 3 minutes in medium flame.6. Then add all the masalas, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder and cumin powder. Mix well and cook for a couple of minutes.
  • 7. Add the chopped greens and mix along with the masalas

  • 9. Add the chopped coriander leaves. Close the cooker and place the whistle. Cook for 3 whistles, simmer after the first whistle. 10. Once done wait for the pressure to release and then open the cooker and fluff it up.
  • 1. You can add any variety of greens. 2. Chopping the greens is optional. I did it since this was going into my daughter
