This curry taste delicious with rice or tapioca. I had some leftover of this, i reheated it and served it with dosa for breakfast and hubby went crazy over it
All i did over the weekend was "sleep" but some how managed to cook my favorite KeralaStyleFishCurry/ Naadan MeenCurry/Meen Vevichathu to go with steamed rice and Tapioca(Kappa)
If you are from Malabar, then you definitely need to know your fishcurry well. Making the mulakittathu – the red fishcurry, which I have already shared two versions here and here, is literally a cake walk but getting the varutharachathu right is a little difficult task
"Meen Moilee" is a Keralafishcurry, its simply "Curried Fish in Coconut cream/milk". A very simple curry, easy to cook, uses very few easily available ingredients but very high on taste
Once the curry starts to boil and mangoes are cooked enough, add the fish pieces and cook in low heat until the fish is cooked well and the gravy thickens up
So let’s get started with the FishCurry, Village Style, Nattu Meen Kulambu. You can make this amazingly tasty FishCurry, Village Stylewith coconut oil, gingelly oil or groundnut oil
He cannot live withoutfish, he wants it atleast twice or thrice a week. Serve with rice. What he insist me is to make this fishcurry which i ofcourse his recipe
