Ingredients

  • 1 kg Naatu Kozhi/Country chicken (cut as medium sized pieces)
  • 3 cups Basmati rice
  • 2 nos Onion (big & chopped lengthwise thinly)
  • 5 nos Green chillies (slit opened)
  • 1 cup Mint leaves (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup Coriander leaves
  • 4 +1/2cups Hot boiling water
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • 2 nos Bayleaves
  • 3 nos Cardamoms
  • 1 Cinnamon stick
  • 4 Cloves 1/2 Lemon
  • To Grind;
  • 10 Shallots
  • 6 nos Green chillies
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 Cinnamon stick
  • 2 Cardamoms
  • 4 Cloves 1 Star anise
  • 1 Jathipathiri/Mace
  • 1/2 cup Yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
