Ingredients

  • 3 - 4 hours Onion - 4, medium, finely sliced
  • Cardamom –
  • Black peppercorns -3
  • 1 tbsp Garam masala powder – 1 tsp Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
  • 6 tbsp Ghee
  • 2 tbsp Coriander leaves
  • 3 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup of warm water and cook till daal is done (not mashed) and water has dried up
