One of my favorite anchovy/netholirecipe is a very famous traditional Kerala fishrecipe,meenpeera patichathu , fish covered in a coarse coconut mixture with a little tanginess of Gambodge/Kudampulli added to it
Fenugreek Seed Powder / Vendayam Podi - a big pinch. Meen Vevichathu is what it is called in kottayam. It is a spicy and delicious fish curry which is mainly tamarind based and taste so delicious
Make sure that there are no bones left in the fish fingers and cut off any of those close to the fish skin dark grey/brownfish meat pieces as those taste awful in fish sticks
But the main ingredient in this recipe is a tamarind called as kokum / kudampuli. What he insist me is to make this fish curry which i ofcourse his recipe
First I tried the masala powder and then made the tangy and spicy puli meenrecipe and it was a huge success, everyone loved it specially "hubby - the fish lover" loved it
The actual recipe name is nethili meen kootu, but i called it as simple nethili meen curry. This fish curry is one of the recipe which i found on a cookbook and tried it immediately
This is one of the easiest fish curry recipe, because you just need the fish curry masala to make this, you can either make it at home or use store bought ones
