I have already posted one version of menthe thambuli recipe where in we soak and then grind the fenugreek seeds but here, in this recipe, we fry the seeds first, and then grind it
Fenugreek dosa or menthe dose has only two ingredients. Fenugreek seeds have sort of body cooling properties which is why this dosa gets top position in the summer breakfast menu

Amma (my mom). For the menthe soppu palya / spicy fenugreek mixture. The slight bitterness from the fenugreek leaves, sweetness from the jaggery, tanginess from the tamarind & the spice from the masala powder makes this a very delicious rice
Ginger/inji(grated). Fenugreek leaves/methi. Green peas/pachai pattani. Green chilly/pachamilagai. Add the green chilly and grated ginger,add in the fresh methi leaves,saute it for a minute

Red Chilli Karindi also called as Methe Hindi. Red Chilli Karindi|MentheHindi 2018-01-05 20. Ingredients • 100 grams OR 20-22 ripened long and thin red chillies which are less spicy in nature(byadgi red chilli) • 2 teaspoons Fenugreek seeds/Methi/Menthya • 2 teaspoons Mustard seeds • 3 bulbs of garlic (whole – in India, 5-6 cloves in USA) • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric • Salt as per taste. Instructions Soak Fenugreek/methi seeds for atleast 1-2 hours. 2 teaspoons Fenugreek seeds
