Ingredients

  • 1 cup Gram flour (besan)
  • 1 Cup yogurt
  • 1/2 Ginger, chopped fine
  • 1/2 Cup fenugreek leaves, chopped fine
  • 2,3 cloves Garlic, chopped fine
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp chilly powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 ts Cumin powder
  • A hint of asafoetida
  • Salt per taste
  • 1 tbs oil
  •  
  • For the gravy
  • 2 onion, grated
  • 3 tomates, pureed
  • 2 green chili, chopped
  • 2 tbs Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 3,4 cloves garlic, chopped fine
  • 1 piece ginger, chopped fine
  • 1/2 tsp dhania powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp chilly powder or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp asafoetida
  • 2 tbs yogurt
  • Salt per taste
  • Some coriander leaves, finely chopped
