Ingredients

  • 5-7 minutes ( includes pressure cooking time )
  • 1 cup yellow Moong Dal – lentil
  • ½ cup rice ( I used Sona Masoori variety )
  • 1 tsp ghee / Oil
  • 4 cups of water
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds ( Jeera )
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder ( haldi )
  • 2-3 green chilies – split lengthwise
  • 1 tomato, chopped small
  • Salt to taste
