Ingredients

  • 1 medium size radish ( grated)
  • 1 large tomato ( chopped)
  • 1 " ginger piece ( grated)
  • marble size tamarind ( add 1/4 cup hot water and extract thick juice)
  • pinch of asafoetida
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • salt to taste
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon urad dal/husked black gram
  • 1 teaspoon dhania/coriander seeds
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon methi /fenugreek seeds
  • 4 dry red chillies ( roughly torn)
  • 2 green chillies ( chopped)
  • 15-20 curry leaves
  • small bunch coriander leaves ( optional)
