Ingredients

  • 250 ml cup
  • 2 cups mix
  • 1/4 cup moong dal
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tomato
  • 1/2 cup fresh coconut ( chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds ( soak in water for 15 minutes)
  • 10 cashew nuts
  • 2 teaspoons sambar powder (adjust according to spice levels)
  • 2 teaspoons coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1 sprig curry leaves
  • or coriander leaves
  • 4. Add the onions and tomato and fry for 1 minute over low flame.
