So let’s get started with the Lobia Recipe, Pakistani LobiaMasala Black Eyed Peas Curry. Made pretty much same like the chana masala, this lobia recipe is a very versatile dish
And with this black eyed peas I made Punjabi lobiamasala to bring to you folks. It's known by many names like lobia or karamani in tamil or vanpayar in malayalam
Then add the boiled chawli/blackeyedbeans. Chauli/blackeyed bean cooked in roasted coconut masala gravy makes a great side dish with chapatis or can be eaten with rice too

Now add red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala and salt. Black eyed peas curry is delicious and nutritious, eaten with plain steamed rice or vegetable pulao or even Indian flat breads, it is the comfort food for me
Serve this curry and cooked black eyedbeans with ragi balls or steamed rice ¼ kg black eyed. Cook black eyedbeans in water and add salt to it so that it is absorbed into the black eyedbeans while it is cooking
Open when done and check the tenderness. Soak black eyed peas for half an hour in warm water. So its really easy to make and filling curry-cum-gravy whatever that means
I started getting into more and more blog events and trying to cook accordingly to tackle the completion dates and one day I realized that I am using my passion to compete instead of doing what I really wanted to do
