Ingredients

  • 15 equal sized spinach leaves
  • 1 cup gram flour or besan
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon green chilli paste
  • 1/4 teaspoon carom seeds or ajwain
  • a small pinch of baking soda
  • salt as required
  • oil for deep frying the pakodas
