The extra marinade can be applied or brushed on the paneertikka before baking/grilling them. Paneer is one of the veggie delight which is rich in protein and very good for health
I was preparing this tikkawithout Gram flour for long but I got this tip from Mr. Soaking paneer in warm water helps us to get soft and tender tikkas as they are made in oven with high heat
PaneerTikka is usually prepared in tandoor (clay oven). PaneerTikka is a famous North Indian starter recipe and must be a favourite one not only for vegetarians but for non-vegetarians too
Meanwhile, Irealised that my oven has been broken for a month and I can’t go ahead with the tikka any-more As wise as I am, I decided to take the risk prepare it on Pan without grill
# Leftover marinade can be used for preparing Paneertikka Masala (Gravy). Juicy chunks of paneer is marinated in masala, arranged on skewers and then grilled with veggies
Remove from the oven and serve immediately. 20 paneer (cottage cheese) cubes. Add the paneer, mix gently and keep aside to marinate for 15 minutes. Arrange the paneer pieces on the wire rack and place the wire rack on a baking tray and grill in a pre-heated oven at 200°c (400°f) for 30 minutes
Later, I discovered that we could make it as a starter without the gravy and so whenever I was in search of comfort food, PaneerTikka is on the top of my list (it is just edged out by Hara Bhara Kabab and Dal Tadka which are at the top of the list)
