Paneer Tikka, Punjabi Paneer Tikka in Oven

  • 20 paneer (cottage cheese) cubes
  • 11/2 cup thick curds (dahi)
  • 11 tsp ginger (adrak) paste
  • 11 tsp garlic (lehsun) paste
  • 12 tsp chilli powder
  • 11 tsp dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi)
  • 11/2 tsp garam masala
  • 11 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
  • 11 tsp chaat masala
  • 11 tbsp besan (bengal gram flour)
  • 11 tbsp oil
  • 1 salt to tasteCombine the curds, ginger paste, garlic paste, chilli powder, dried fenugreek leaves, garam masala, coriander, chaat masala, besan, oil and salt in a deep bowl and mix well to prepare a marinade.
  • Add the paneer, mix gently and keep aside to marinate for 15 minutes.
  • Arrange the paneer pieces on the wire rack and place the wire rack on a baking tray and grill in a pre-heated oven at 200°c (400°f) for 30 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
